hi, I’m Grace
I became a birth doula in 2017 after the birth of my firstborn blew my mind, and lit up my heart for advocacy in the birth world. My two very different birth experiences brought me to a place of deep compassion and a desire to give loving care to any and all birth choices. At home with Granny Midwife, or in a level IV Maternal Care Facility, I’ll be with you through it all with unconditional support.

I’m very chatty except in the birth room.
My toxic trait is getting annoyed when my husband has a cough in bed at night when he’s sick.
You’ll find me at church on Sundays.
My favorite shows are Scrubs, Severence and Call the Midwife.
I’m highly intuitive, able to read body language and pick up on slight shifts in people’s emotions, this serves my clients, especially in the birth room when so much communication is non-verbal.
I have three daughters. Two by birth, and one we gained through long term foster care.
I was more than halfway through my first pregnancy when I learned what a cervix was, and that my baby’s umbilical cord did not, in fact, go from her belly button to the inside of mine. It’s never too late for childbirth education, folks!
I have a deep passion for supporting single mothers in labor and beyond.
